All media enquiries and approaches should be made directly to the Media and Communications Team. Please do not contact individual staff members or services directly. 

You can email the team at communications@porthosp.nhs.uk. Our inbox is monitored during working hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. If you have an urgent enquiry that is outside these hours please call the hospital switchboard on 023 9228 6000 and ask to speak to the communication on-call lead. 

If you would like to film or take photos of one of our services or sites, please speak to the team first. This is to protect the privacy of our patients and staff. 

Mental health reporting
Journalists looking for information on the most appropriate ways of reporting emotional crises or mental health issues - including suicide - may like to refer to the guidelines by the  which are supported by most media organisations and professional bodies.
