The City of Blue Springs, Missouri
The City has a home rule charter and is governed by a Mayor and six member City Council, who appoints a City Administrator. The City has adopted a comprehensive plan and has a Unified Development Code. Councilmen serve three-year terms, and the Mayor serves a four-year term. City Council meetings are held the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Facility, 1100 SW Smith Street. Residents are invited to attend.
